Phyllis Allen has spent her life serving others, first as a podiatrist, then as an adjunct professor of anatomy and physiology, and finally as a hospital chaplain, the calling she longed for all her life. Each season prepared her for her purpose: sharing stories of God's faithfulness through her first book and her podcast, Seasons of Grace.
She serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in Georgia's foster care system. Phyllis and her husband Jeffrey have been married 38 years and have three adult children, Justin, Jonathan, and Brittany.

That's what testimonies are supposed to do. Since the word testimony in Hebrew is ‘Aydooth’ which means ‘do it again…repeat. I didn't understand the power of testimony until I did that. Until I told that one to her. But to know that you can put it in a book, and it's God blessed! And He's going to do the same thing in multiple locations at the same time and forevermore.
